About Our Program
UnscriptedVani’s MicroMic: The Real India Project is a nationwide volunteer initiative inviting school and college students (Class 9 to final year) to uncover and document powerful, untold stories from across India. From small-town entrepreneurs and long-standing local businesses to fearless women leaders, social workers, and grassroots changemakers, this program empowers youth to spotlight real stories of resilience, impact, and hope that often go unnoticed. Volunteers will identify and submit 2–5 stories over 30 days, capturing them through writing or interviews (photos/videos optional), with guidance and orientation provided by the Unscripted Vani team. Selected stories will be featured on UnscriptedVani’s platforms, and all participants will receive a Certificate of Contribution, with top performers earning Letters of Recommendation and social media recognition. More than a storytelling initiative, this movement aims to build a community of curious, observant, and empathetic young changemakers across India.
