In Faridabad, a man named Coach Dinanath, or Coachji, made a dream come true. He started Azad Football Club in 1970. He had no money. He only had passion. He wanted to help poor kids play football.

Coachji began on an old Air Force ground. The ground was a mess. He cleaned it. He found a way to water it. He even used filtered sewage water. He spent his own money. He bought balls and shoes. He made a place for kids to play.


Today, over 200 kids and adults play at Azad Football Club. They play every day. They learn from Coachji and other coaches. They play in tournaments. They go to summer camps. Coachji still uses his own money. He wants to give them a chance. He wants to empower them through community sports.


Coachji cares for everyone. He brings water. He coaches with love. He makes sure everyone is okay. He is the heart of the club. He is a true sports mentor.


Inderjeet Bidhuri, a former player, now coaches. He wants to help kids succeed. He wants to give them the chances he missed. He is especially proud of the women's team. The girls practice every day. They are strong and confident. They have already won medals. Their mothers are proud. They support their daughters. They see how football changes their lives.
